The 2025 edition of WWE Money in the Bank is just moments away, but first, it’s time for the final stop — Friday Night SmackDown. The go-home show airs live from the Dignity Health Arena in Bakersfield, California, and promises high-profile confrontations and final build-up ahead of MITB.

Multiple big names are confirmed for the show, including Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso, LA Knight, and Alexa Bliss. Several matches and segments have already been announced by the promotion.

Ahead of their respective battles at MITB 2025, all contenders for the Men’s and Women’s Money in the Bank ladder matches will appear live on SmackDown. The six male contenders include Solo Sikoa, LA Knight, Penta, Seth Rollins, Andrade, and El Grande Americano.

The qualified female participants — Naomi, Rhea Ripley, Alexa Bliss, Roxanne Perez, Giulia, and Stephanie Vaquer — will also feature in a six-woman tag team match. On tonight’s show, Rhea Ripley, Alexa Bliss, and Stephanie Vaquer face Naomi, Giulia, and Roxanne Perez in a preview of Saturday’s ladder showdown.

The night will also include a tense segment as Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso share the ring with John Cena and Logan Paul — their opponents in the upcoming MITB tag team match. This confrontation is expected to mirror last week’s intense face-off and will add momentum to their Saturday night battle at the Intuit Dome.
